    Certain apps in startup keeps being turned off


    I turn them on and restart it works but then when I restart again they not working. I go back in and check them and they have been turned off. It would be fine but they are important programs like Microsoft OneDrive, Google Sync/Backup my Good Drive just to name a few. These two are the most important because without them my files are not being backed up to the cloud. The only thing I've done lately was become a Windows Insider / Beta Tester. But this problem was happening before this and I upgraded to WIndows build 20H2, but as I stated it was happening before I did either of those changes.

    Adding programs to startup with Windows 7?

    You could add entries to the registry to launch the apps on startup, but it's easier to just add them to the startup foler as Newt suggested.

    why windows 10 1803 keep turning on background apps after restart?

    What is the app that is turning back on the background service after you remove it from all 3 locations in Step 4 in the checklist.

    What is the name of the app listing and in which of the locations is it nesting for Startup: msconfig > Services, Task manager Startup Tab, or the Explorer Startup folder?
