  1. Certain Games have problems being displayed properly

For some weird reason, some games have weird problems displaying, like the League of Legends client, Hollow Knight, Hexcells, etc. They each are give Transparent/black/white screen instead of the game screen. Another game I play gives the option to enable GPU Usage or just use the CPU and the game only works without the GPU enabled, which makes me think its a GPU problem... except I've run GPU Benchmarks and can run other games like Elite Dangerous and Warframe just fine. In some games the mouse even changes to the ingame mouse its supposed to be and makes sounds when you hover over ingame buttons or where they're supposed to be, the in game music always plays.

I've updated and rolled back drivers multiple times, and even formatted my whole pc like 5 times and it still has the same problem. I've contacted a couple of game developers and none could solve it. Is this a hardware issue and if so how can I tell exactly what part?

    :)

  2. Certain keys on the keyboard are not working properly.

    Hi Russell,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Community.

I understand that certain keys on the keyboard are not working properly on the pc. I will try to help you with this issue.

Please answer these questions to get more clarity on this issue:

    • Did you make any changes to the pc prior to this issue?

    • Have you installed all pending updates on the pc?

    • Have you performed a full pc virus scan on the system recently?

Suggest you to launch the on-screen keyboard to check if the issue persists.

Follow these steps to launch the On-screen keyboard:

    • Press “Windows key + R” to get the run window.

    • Type “osk” and hit enter to launch the On-screen keyboard and check if this helps.

Also suggest you to install any pending Windows updates on the pc to check if that helps.
Updates are additions to software that can help prevent or fix problems, improve how your computer works, or enhance your computing experience.

Further, you may also boot the computer in a clean boot state and check if the issue persists. When you start Microsoft Windows, typically there are several programs that start automatically and run in the background that may interfere with the system.
These programs may include antivirus and system utility programs. When you perform a clean startup procedure, you prevent these programs from starting automatically.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows: (Applies to Windows 10)

Note: After you have finished troubleshooting, follow the steps under “How to reset the computer to start as usual after troubleshooting with clean boot” in the article to boot to normal startup.

  3. How do I make games open on the primary display?

I have 3 monitors on a nvidia GTX660Ti, with the latest drivers, on windows 10, upgraded from win7, on a PC that I have been gaming on for quite some time now. The hardware itself has been an excellent gaming rig up until the windows upgrade and/or the
nvidia driver upgrade, but now a number of my games will not start on the primary display, they start on the first display in the list, which is not marked as primary. Both the windows display settings and the nvidia control panel have my central monitor
    identified as the primary display.

    • Has anybody encountered this behavior?
    • Is it likely to be windows 10 related or decided by the nvidia driver?
    • Any suggestions on getting this to behave properly, like it used to, without requiring me to disable the other displays to get the primary to be used?
