Windows 10: Certain Keys and Left Shift Not Working on ASUS ZenBook Q406da Laptop

Problem Summary: On my ASUS ZenBook Q406da laptop, the left Shift key and several other keys 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 0, P, =, ], and aren’t working. This issue started recently, and it’s inconsistent—sometimes the keys work if I press them constantly and wait a while. my left shift key is not working in my hp laptop and I tried all the methods that the internet says but when I'm using an external keyboard the shift is working. Only the left shift key is not working the right shift is working properly

 

Asus Zenbook stuck on Asus logo

Hi,

I have a ASUS Zenbook laptop which recently received a windows update.

Ever since the update - the laptop would not start up and it would just go in a loop

"Attempting to recover installation.." "Undoing changes made to your computer...". and then restart (this cycle would just keep repeating)

I took it to IT and they tried to get into Recovery mode by keeping the power button pressed firmly during this loop and also pressing the "ESC F1 F2 F3". After doing this multiple times

Now the machine just shows the ASUS logo and doesn't even try to boot up.

I need to get my laptop up and running - is that even possible at this point? Can you please suggest steps to troubleshoot / recover from this situation?

Asus Zenbook Function Keys Not Working

I recently bought a Asus Zenbook UX305FA and it came with Windows 8. I upgraded to Windows 10. After all the updating and installing, I finally got to using it. I noticed that none of the function keys worked. Or rather, did other things. For example:
my sound (up) key launches Inspect Element in Chrome. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
