    Certain objects are too big and settings won't fix it.


    For some reason my computer is having a problem with certain objects on the screen being too big. For example, in OneNote, the exit button and the options such as file, home, insert are all gigantic, but the rest of the page beneath is normal-sized. In Chrome, the tabs bar and the bookmarks are huge, but the rest of the page is normal-sized. Additionally, this only affects one of my accounts. I have two accounts on my computer and one of them is completely normal, but the other is weird like I've described. And it only affects things in the header area of my screen. I have tried adjusting si

    "object reference not set to an instance of an object"

    When I turn on my Laptop, dialogue box show "object reference not set to an instance of an object" problem. Any suggestion ,How to fix that one ?

    It's unfortunate that you are facing this issue. Let me assist you to resolve the issue.

    I appreciate if you could answer few questions to narrow down the issue and to provide you better assistance.

    • Check and verify if Cortana is activated?
    • Does Cortana search and gives any output/result on screen?
    • Is the Language and region settings set to valid value?
    • Check and verify if Cortana available in your region?
    Method 1:

    I suggest you to try to turn Cortana off and then try turning it on back and check if she talks. Refer to the steps below to turn Off and On Cortana:

    • Open Cortana.
    • Click the hamburger button in the top left of the window.
    • Go to Settings and click on off.
    • Follow the same steps to turn it on.
    • Check if issue persists.
