    HelloOur Threat Detection and Response tool reported threat in path C:\Users\administrator\AppData\Local\Temp\16d5bcc8-ae6e-4622-81ae-81718dfc9bc1\certutil.exeThe alert appeared when installing the updates belowAfter the end of the update the folder 16d5bcc8-ae6e-4622-81ae-81718dfc9bc1 disappeared.I checked the antivirus logs but I can't find an event with the certutil.exe folder and/or file.I scanned the post with antivirus and antimalware and I did not find any threats.Will the installation of windows updates be able to use the certutil.exe utility?If not, will the certutil.exe utility be ab

    Threats detected by Windows Defender

    If you really want to be sure if those threats are removed completely then I would suggest to clean install Windows. That’s the only way to know for sure.

    And always disconnect from the internet next time you encounter malware. That’s the first step to take, especially if you have more than one computer sharing the same network.
