Windows 10: CES 2020: Samsung expands computing portfolio with Galaxy Book Flex a

Prior to CES, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Book Flex α (alpha), a new variant of Galaxy Book Flex and the latest installment in the company’s new line of Galaxy Computing devices that combine the productivity and premium experience of a laptop with the mobility and flexibility of a smartphone.

It offers long-lasting battery, an immersive QLED display capable of producing over 1 billion colors and an ultra-thin bezel. The 2-in-1 PC delivers a super-bright display that allows you to enjoy the screen’s 100% color volume and vibrant picture in almost any lighting.

You can do more with up to 17.5-hours battery life* and when charging does become necessary, you’ll find its Fast Charge capability handy, as it allows topping off the battery in a pinch when you’ve got somewhere to be.

It weighs in at 1.19kg and is 13.9mm thick, so it can fit into any bag with ease, and still leave room for whatever else you need to get through the day. It has sharp, diamond-cut edges and a crisp, durable aluminum frame so it can withstand typical wear and tear.

Underneath that stylish exterior is an Intel 10th Generation processor and built-in biometric credentialing for a more secure experience wherever you are.

It’ll available in Mercury Gray in the U.S. in the first half of 2020, starting at $829.99.

Mobile World Congress 2017: Samsung announces Windows 10 Galaxy Book

Today at Mobile World Congress, Samsung announced an expanded strategic partnership with Microsoft that will help professionals use digital technology to work anywhere, with the release of the Samsung Galaxy Book powered by Windows 10 and improvements to Samsung Flow.

The Samsung Galaxy Book with Windows 10

To kick off the expanded strategic partnership, Samsung and Microsoft worked together to design the Samsung Galaxy Book, a new premium 2-in-1 designed with the mobile enterprise customer in mind. Built with Windows 10, the Samsung Galaxy Book weighs less than two pounds and provides easy access to the full desktop Microsoft Office experience in an ultra-portable 2-in-1 design that delivers unmatched productivity for the professional on-the-go. The 12-inch touchscreen enables you to easily use Windows Ink or markup and draw on websites in Microsoft Edge, and the S Pen is equipped with the tilt SDK for Windows Ink, providing artists with advanced shading and brushstrokes. The Galaxy Book also allows you to use your voice to talk to Cortana, your personal digital assistant, comes with a 7th generation Intel Core processor and provides up to 10 hours of battery life.

The newly improved Samsung Flow with Windows 10

Creating a complete ecosystem that allows simple communication between devices is a key component to a successful mobile transformation. Samsung improved Samsung Flow with Microsoft on the Galaxy Book. Samsung Flow allows customers to sync their Galaxy smartphone with the Galaxy Book for convenient login and Wi-Fi connection through the smartphone’s mobile hotspot when a data connection is not available, and the Samsung Flow app will display notifications from your smartphone.

Stylus - Samsung Galaxy Book

My stylus will no longer highlight in EPub apps and in internet browsers. It only acts as a cursor and scrolls the pages up/down/left/right.

Is there a setting to fix this? It suddenly changed yesterday with the Windows 10 version 1709 update. Any way to fix?

FYI: I have the Samsung Galaxy Book w/ Windows 10 OS
