    I want to tell the situation from the beginning because I am not very dominant. I left it to download a game on Steam last night, I waited for it to land until morning. When I woke up in the morning, I noticed that many of the application icons had disappeared and were replaced by a white PNG icon those who know, when the main files are deleted, clicking on the shortcut icons will display a notification about the deletion of the main files. Two warning notifications appeared on the screen; the first was "cfgmgr32.it was the error "dll not found", immediately after that I received another war

    Application error 0xc06d007e

    Just purchased and set up new Dell Inspiron computer running Windows 10. Keep getting pop-up message regarding application error "0xc06d007e". Something about "unknown software"? Very annoying pop- up. Any suggestions?

    CFGMGR32.dll is missing

    I cannot logon to my Windows 7 on my laptop because of system error message that says the program cannot start because CFGMGR32.dll is missing, try reinstall.

    Ihave tried to boot it up by SAFE mode, but same error message appears.

    I no longer have the installation CD's, sigh!

    Can Someone

    Please Advice!

    I printed out your emails, the tutorials, and followed them step by step. Every step I was getting the same missing .dll error. So did I not follow them exactly? Yes, you are correct. Because I was getting .dll errors that wouldn't let me follow the tutorials
    exactly. I made the disk, I followed the steps, and still getting the same .dll error.

    I've spent the last two nights buckling down and following the steps.

    Now I can't get to any site other than microsoft on my computer browser. My phone has been hijacked by Microsoft Launcher because I said yes to send a link to an app. Now my phone has been reset and doesn't look like it did half an hour ago. Don't talk to
    me about nonsense.
