Windows 10: CH340 Driver Not Recognized for ESP8266 Board in Device Manager

I recently installed the CH340 drivers on my device for my ESP8266 board. However, when I connect the board, I don’t see the CH340 driver in Device Manager; it only shows as 'USB Serial Port default.' Could you please help me troubleshoot this issue?

Win 10 USB Driver for connecting to CH340 serial to USB chip

I am trying to connect to an Arduino with a CH340 serial to USB chip via my USB port but the computer will not recognize it. I am reading up that it requires a USB driver update for it to work. However, I do not see anything that provides me with a driver
for a Windows 10 PC that only has USB 3.0 ports. Is there a Microsoft USB driver update that will enable connectivity to these boards?

According to your feedback, you are connecting to CH340 driver shows that it has been pre-installed successfully, but the driver is not shown in the device manager, for this problem, you can try the following methods:

1. Replace the newer driver, you can go to the official website to download it

2. You can disable him in the device manager and then enable it.

3. Click the Windows key, in the search, type "Advanced Startup" and select Change Advanced Startup Options then select Advanced Startup > Restart Now > Reboot and select Troubleshooting > Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Reboot > Select 7.

4. Press Win+R on your keyboard, type "services.msc" in the pop-up "Run" dialog, and find "Device Install Service" and "Device Install Service" in the service list. In the service list, find "Device Install Service" and "Device Setup Manager" two service items, confirm that these two services are open.

restoring other devices to device manager tab

I accidentally removed an unknown device from device manager. now other devices is gone. How do I get it back? In other words how do I get other devices tab back inbetween network adaptors and portable devices in the device manager tab so I can instal
the drivers in the unknown device? The unknown device is an Arduino Nano V3 board CH340/atmega328p board.
