Windows 10: Challenge phrase keeps popping up- how to disable?

So my mom has the Parental Controls settings up on my computer. I keep entering the wrong PIN on my login screen I know what it is and it gives me the Challenge Phrase challenge- standard protocol. So I enter the phrase, it gives me the PIN entry again, I login, lock, and start over.Except...When I reboot my computer and attempt to sign in with my PIN it gives me the Challenge Phrase challenge- and I haven't even entered a PIN yet!!I don't have admin privileges either and my mom is super busy- I'd like a solution if possible that does NOT require my mom to come put her PIN in.Thanks so muc

First, "Challenge Phrase" is a new approach taken by Microsoft to thwarting brute force attacks or cyber trespassers. This attack involves a simple process of trying all common or likely PIN codes over and over until the correct code is finally discovered.
When a PIN gets entered incorrectly four times in a row, users are sent to a different screen where they are requires to enter a specific phrase.

May I know what are you trying to do before the challenge phrase prompted?

And what do you mean by nothing happens? Did this mean you where directed to another windows?

Kindly give further details so I can suggest or give you a step by step procedure to fix this.

I keep getting the request for a challenge phrase and do not know it. How do I change the challenge phrase?

 

How can I change/disable challenge phrase?

After entering the wrong code to sign in several times, I got asked to enter my challenge phrase. I had forgotten it and was forced to factory reset my laptop. However I was not asked to enter a new challenge phrase when I set up the laptop and I worry that it's the old challenge phrase which I have forgotten. How do I change the challenge phrase? Or how do I disable it entirely?
