    Hello i have an acer aspire 3 415-42 with windows 10. processor AMD Athlon 30u with vega radeon vega mobile gfxAll drivers are updated.my screen adapter is an AMD Radeon TM Vega 3 graphicsand the monitor is an BOE BOE7CE IT USED TO BE GENERIC MONITOR PNPBUT THE BIRIGHTNESS WONT CHANGE EITHER.the thing here is that the brightness bar appears in configurations and with functions keys it goes up if i press the brightness key and it gown down if i press the another one. but in fact the brightness does not change at all.the only way that i have to attenuate the brightness just a bit is

    Hi, There's a the slider for brightness at the bottom of the Action Centre (build 1903).

    If you'd be prepared to consider an alternative... how about smooth control of brightness using your scroll wheel?
    Press a key, plus scroll, and adjust your brightness.

    The key and the steps are your choice.

    Oh, and it can adjust volume similarly.

    Works nicely on my Lenovo Thinkpad, where the Fn key steps for brightness are a bit harsh.

    1215N function keys not working?

    I recently purchased a Asus Eee PC 1215N, and reinstalled Windows (the factory install has too much bloatware.)

    However I'm finding some of the function keys do not work. Changing brightness works fine with the function keys, but volume and turning off the touchpad doesn't seem to work.

    Is there a tool I can install?
    I only used Windows Update for the drivers so far, and I wiped the recovery partition to make more room for the install itself.

    I read about something called ATK hotkeys, would that work?

    Changing brightness is no longer smooth with function keys on 1903

    I was forced to update to Win10 1903 today from 1809 by Windows and after updating I encountered a bit of an issue,

    changing the brightness now isn't as smooth as it was before with the function keys as seen here

    in comparison,

    changing the brightness with the function keys used to look something like this

    I don't know if it's an installation issue or if Microsoft changed the behavior of how the brightness works but

    I'm hoping to see if there's a fix for this because it's really annoying me for a number of reasons
