Windows 10: Change CMOS Date/Time is impossible HELP ME ! Please

How to configure CMOS Date/Time on bios 1401 version.It's an asus motherboard M5A 78L-MLX3...It's very busy to make this could you help me I don't understand want's happened.I've got no entry on bios cmos for configure it.

Date and Time Year is 3015 and can't change to 2015.

I suggest you to set “Windows Time” service as manual. Follow the steps provided below.

• Press Windows logo Key + R key.
• Type services.msc
• Right click on Windows Time service.
• Select Properties.
• Under startup type drop down, change it to manual.
• Click on Apply button and OK button.

Restart your computer and try to change the date and time and check.

To change the date and time, follow the steps provided below.

• Go to Date and time settings.
• First, turn of the set time automatic.
• Then Click on Change button, under Change date and time.
• Now set the date and time, and then restart the computer and check.

Cannot change date/time in BIOS/CMOS

HELP! I have a Windows 10 Dell Laptop that has been unable to boot since the last Windows update. I found similar users who were told by Microsoft to roll back the date in the BIOS to a time before the update and this option worked for them, but not me.

When I enter CMOS by hitting f2 at startup, I go to the “Date/Time” and make changes. The “Apply” button at this time however would not highlight. As such, I went to other areas such as the boot sequence, deselected a check box, then reselected it back to
it’s original state. This activated the “Apply” button.

I then went back to the “Date/Time” and again set the date to a time before this problematic update. I have also turned off the wifi switch on the laptop and disabled both wifi and bluetooth in the CMOS. Each time, I still recoeve the same error message
at startup of Windows and in rebooting to the CMOS the date and time reverts back to today’s date.

I also tried removing the power & batter for 10 minutes.

Would removing a battery that might hold internal date/time info be possible? Is there such a thing in laptops like the button cell in PCs?

I need this computer this weekend!

I suggest you to change the Date and Time format from Control Panel and check. Also select the time zone as UTC-5.00 Eastern Time.


After changing the setting, I suggest you to set “Windows Time” service as automatic. Follow the steps provided below.

• Press Windows logo Key + R key.
• Type services.msc
• Right click on Windows Time service.
• Select Properties.
• Under startup type drop down, change it to Automatic.
• Click on Apply button and OK button.

Restart your computer and check.
