Windows 10: Change date format ONLY for the taskbar in Windows 10

Discus and support Change date format ONLY for the taskbar in Windows 10 in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; Is it possible to set a different date format exclusively for the taskbar in Windows 10?     Change date format ONLY for the taskbar in Windows 10


    Is it possible to set a different date format exclusively for the taskbar in Windows 10?


    More specifically, while "yyyy/MM/dd" is my favorite short-date format across all the different system options in Windows 10, when it comes to the taskbar I find useless to display the year and two-digits day and month. I wonder if it is possible to somehow override this format only for the taskbar.

    Please follow the below steps and check if you are able to change the date and time format:


    • Click on the time and date on the Windows taskbar.

    • Now click on Date and time settings.

    • Click on Change date and time formats on the right pane.

    • Now you can set different time and date format.
