Windows 10: Change default spell checker in Window 10 From English USA to English Australia

How can I change the default spell checker to English Aust in Windows 10. Eg the word : Humour is showing as a spelling error when it is spelt correct in Australia but should be humor in the USA :-

Windows 10 English Australia - Handwriting and Spelling Correction

Hi,

I am having a problem with the English Australia language when used for Spelling Correction and Handwriting on a tablet device and Windows 10.

1 – Handwriting to Text – the handwriting keyboard is not able to be selected from the Touch Keyboard menu in the taskbar.


2 – Spelling correction – the built in Windows 10 spelling checker will not check spelling when entering text into a website in IE11 or EDGE.

Through our troubleshooting we have discovered that if the default language is changed to English US both handwriting and spelling correction function correctly.

I have spoken to a Microsoft Answer Tech who was able to confirm the fault but unable to provide any official statement acknowledging the fault.


Are Microsoft aware of the fault? Should these features be available when using English Australia as the default language?

Spell Checker not working in Mail or Word Windows 10

My ACER Aspire 10 Tablet was purchased in the USA and is now used in the UK the Region being set to United Kingdom I have two keyboard settings English UK and English US the default being now English UK. When I type in either Mail or Word the Spelling
Checker does not identify misspelled words and when I activate the spelling checker which is default to English United Kingdom it still does not work I just get a message that the check has been carried out and I'm good to go !!. If I highlight the text and
change the setting from English United Kingdom to English United States then the spelling checker identifies the mistakes underlined in red. How can I make the Spell Checker work such that I do not have to select English United States each time. I have downloaded
the English United Kingdom language pack but that has made no difference.

 

Spell checker in Windows Mail only works if set to US English

Why does spell checker only seem to work in Windows Mail if I have spelling set to US English, despite having all the correct device settings turned on? I don't have this problem in Word. I would like to have New Zealand or UK English as my default spell
checker - not US English. Not all of the English speaking world is American, as much as it may surprise the US.
