  2. My EFI System and Recovery Partitions are on the wrong disk (Windows 10)

Please boot into WinRE and do the following:

    1. Delete the EFI partition on disk 0
    2. Re-run the bcdboot command suggested earlier. Be sure to use the correct drive letter. You can determine the OS partition's drive-letter by running diskpart & list volume commands.

    Edit:

"Volume Z" gave you two more options. If you don't mind having the EFI on disk 0, then all you need to do is delete the unwanted boot entries using msconfig.

OTOH, if you want to have the EFI partition on Disk 2, then delete the EFI partition on Disk 0 and run the bcdboot command.

  3. Several EFI partition but only one working

My earlier post didn't have instructions on how to delete the two EFI partitions on Disk 0. So, disregard that reply. Let's go step by step.

First, get me the list of partition numbers on Disk 0.

    Run:

    • diskpart
    • list disk
    • sel dis 0
    • list part

    Please post screenshot.

  4. Change EFI directory disk

How to remove the partition created in EFI volume while removing Grub in windows 10

    Good day guys,

I happen to follow the following process to remove GRUB:

    1. Run a cmd.exe process with administrator privileges
    2. Run diskpart
    3. Type: list disk then sel disk X where X is the drive your boot files reside on
    4. Type list vol to see all partitions (volumes) on the disk
    5. Select the EFI volume by typing: sel vol Y where Y is the SYSTEM volume (this is almost always the EFI partition)
    6. For convenience, assign a drive letter by typing: assign letter=Z: where Z is a free (unused) drive letter
    7. Type exit to leave disk part
    8. While still in the cmd prompt, type: Z: and hit enter, where Z was the drive letter you just created.
    9. Type dir to list directories on this mounted EFI partition
    10. If you are in the right place, you should see a directory called EFI
    11. Type cd EFI and then dir to list the child directories inside EFI
    12. Type rmdir /S ubuntu to delete the ubuntu boot directory
But now am left with the disk Z: partition after GRUB was successfully removed.

Is there anyway i can fix this without affecting the normal booting of my computer ?

    Faithfully
