Windows 10: Change folder view options

Hi. I want to permanently change the folder view options but what I want to do isn't available under the "Options" & "View" dialogue box.

I would like to have the following columns in all my folders every time I open them:

Name - Date Modified - Size - Path. That's all. The only variation I would like to include is "Length" for audio and video folders.

Am I asking too much? Has Microsoft decided that users aren't capable of making these kinds of decisions?

Please help me! It would save me hours!

Folder view issue

I want my folders (and subfolders) to stay in List view but they keep changing to Details view.

I have tried View>Options>Apply to Folders many times but it doesn't stick.

Any suggestions?

When making new system ... it's a pain in ass changing always.

 

View>list folder option doesn't stick to all folders


In a folder, when I do View>list and then in Options apply that to all folders, it often doesn't stick, i.e some sub folders under that folder show the details view. Any suggestions?

In fact it looks like all new folders are defaulting to details view.
