Windows 10: Change key on digiatl keyboard?

Hi! I've benn using the digital keyboard quite often lately and I'm satisfied with it. HOWEVER some of the key arrangements are not optimal. I'd like to know if it's possible to change a key ONLY on the digatal keyboard. For example I want to change the . key to the ' kez on the french keyboard so I don't have to keep changing the page when typing. I looked eveywhere and could not find an option to change that. I couldn't upload a picture but I believe it's not necessary.Is there an option to rearrange/change the kez onlz the the digital kezboard in Windows 11?Thank you in advance for your a

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: You may check if the ALT key is functioning correctly in on-screen keyboard. It will help us to verify if there is any issue with the keyboard.

Follow the steps below to open On-screen Keyboard.

  Windows + Q, type OSK (on-screen keyboard)
  
• 
  And check if it works
  

Step 2: Run Hardware and device Troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your devices. Refer these steps:

• 
  Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
  
• 
  Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.
  
• 
  Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.

Change the Keyboard Settings - Follow these steps:

1. Right-click on the Windows Start button and open the Settings app.
   
2. Select the Accessibility tab from the left sidebar.
   
3. Click on Keyboard on the right side of the screen.
   
4. Disable the toggles next to Sticky keys, Filter keys, and Toggle keys.
   
5. Disable the toggle next to Underline access keys.
   
6. Then, go to Typing under Related settings.
   
7. Turn off the toggles next to Show text suggestions when typing on the physical keyboard and Multilingual text suggestions.
   
8. After that, click on Advanced keyboard settings and make sure the correct language option is selected.

Also adding to Frederik Long’s resolution, run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

• Type Troubleshooting in the search box next to
  Start button and select the top most search result.
• Click on View all from left side panel of the screen.
• Select Hardware and Devices, click on
  Advanced option and check Apply repairs automatically
  option.
• Follow the on screen instructions.

If issue persist, update your keyboard drivers from the device manager by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X keys on the keyboard and select
  Device Manager.
• Expand Keyboards option.
• Right click on the keyboard driver and select Update option.
• Restart the computer and check if the changes are effective.
