Windows 10: Change Language on Single Language License

I was wondering if there was a way i could go about changing the language on my Windows single language? I bought it in Japan, i know a fair bit of Japanese but still having an English license would be convenient...I bought a cheap pro upgrade license key online on G2A and it won't let me activate... don't wanna waste more money on that. Is there any way around it? It's pretty ridiclous that "single language" licenses are even a thing...Thanks

Change Language - Single Language License

I don't have Windows 10 version number. I have a machine which shows two languages in the preferred language list. Spanish - Mexican and English Canada. English Canada is at top of list. In the drop down for Windows Display language it only has Mexican. The drop down arrow head is there but no options below. This is one of those licenses that says your license only supports one language. How might I change this to be only English and eliminate the Spanish - Mexican? I read a number of Internet articles and they seem to be very mixed results. If a clean install is a sure thing I can propose that to the owner. Any help would be appreciated.
