Windows 10: Change LockScreen Image when PC is lock

Hi, how do I force a lock screen image to update when my computer is locked? The image is created by a scheduled task when the computer is locked, the user logs off, or when the network status changes.Updating the image on the lock screen does not take effect immediately, but only if I click on another user or if the computer is locked a second time.I use PowerShell. LockScreen is set in GPO. Win version is 1909.Than you for help.

Hi Ryan,

To change the lockscreen and desktop background to default, follow the steps provided below and check for status.

• Navigate to Start>Settings>Personalization.
• In the left navigation pane, click on Background.
• In the right pane, click on the drop down list under Background
  and select Picture.
• Choose the default picture displayed below the drop down list.
• Follow the same steps to change the lockscreen image as well.

Unable to change Lockscreen image.

I'm unable to change my lock screen image. I've tried accessing the C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\SystemData folder and its contents and have had little success. Deleting the folder didn't help. Although I did notice that whatever image I set as a new
lockscreen would end up in this folder: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\SystemData\S-1-5-21-2712732272-2729586969-2328367706-1001\ReadOnly\LockScreen_A

While the lockscreen I'm stuck with is in the C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\SystemData\S-1-5-21-2712732272-2729586969-2328367706-1001\ReadOnly\LockScreen_C folder.
