    Change or set Active Network

I have googled and checked the forum but I can't seem to see anybody else having this problem.

I have a simple network comprising of three PCs on a single router.
One PC runs Win7 and acts as a file server to the other two PCs.
The two PCs are running Win10 latest creator edition.
This is what the Active Network settings looked like on the two PCs.

The HomePrivate network "belongs" to the Server.

This week I had to replace one of the PCs and this is what its Active Network settings look like.

So my question is how do I get the new Win10 PC to see and join the existing network rather that a new one belonging to the router?
    Thanks

    :)

Activate the correct access point and default setting in configuration settings.

Sometimes changing the sim will activates other network access point.

    Hope this helps.

What is wrong with my computer?

I had a new system. When I went online I assumed the system activated. But because it was set as a Public Network, it did not. So about 30 minutes I first turned it on, it went to the Black Desktop background.

To set a network as private, open the Homegroup settings and select the Change Network Location. Then click on the Network discovery popup.

You may be seeing something different, but it does look familiar.

If you can, get to the Settings - Update & security - Activation to see if it is activated.

It would be a whole lot more helpful if you showed the network adapter properties, for what the IPv4 settings are. You have multiple networks set up, which leads one to believe that you are using Static IP's, instead of letting the gateway hand out Dynamic DHCP IP's.
