Just to verify, did you change the owner to your account name, and set permissions to "Allow" your account "Full control"?

Apparently you mean what left photo shows. I'm getting the right photo. I add my account but still can't enter the folder.

Were you able to change the owner to your account first?

I follow all steps, enter my account name as owner but it still keeps saying that it cannot show current owner and i can't have access in the folder.

I just tested, and it won't let me either.

You might enable the built-in Administrator account, sign in to that account, and see if it may be able to access the folder. I'm not able to currently test this right now to verify.

Yes that worked. I was able to enter the folder. What i didn't check is if i'll be able to give access to my account though. I should be able right?

You should be able to while signed in to the built-in Administrator.

I couldn't do that to any account. Couldn't tick any of the boxes.

It doesn't look like you will be able to for this protected system folder. *Sad

Weird though that i have access in the default WindowsApps folder and not for the one i switched the location to. Same steps were followed.

Thanks for your help though. *Smile

Any alternative ways to changing this without messing with apps that are already downloaded?
I have no options on the Storage window, though I have seen it before, not sure when this started up.

I'm trying to change the location of games installed as apps to my D Drive to not take up the limited space of my SSD.

Hello Sean, and welcome to Ten Forums. *Smile

Personally, I wouldn't recommend to move where your apps will be installed yet. This has been to buggy IMO right now.

I'm fine with moving everything, but I have no options to change anything within Settings > Storage.
The dropdown menus in there are completely blank.
