Windows 10: Change Start up name and other info that appears

Hi,I have unfortunately had to go thru a reinstallation of windows.When I boot one account only I see the name 'USER'.I would like to change this to my microsoft account name.Following the instructions via settings, and going to the microsoft tech community, my signed-in name appears as it should/I would like it too.Why isnt this being used by my windows OS, and how do I arrange this?cheersLethal42

Perform the steps mentioned below to change the user account name.

• Sign in to the Your info page on the Microsoft account website.
  
• 
  Under your name, select Edit name.
  If there’s no name listed yet, select Add name.
  
• Edit or add the name you want, then choose Save.
  Your Microsoft account name will start to appear or change everywhere you use it.
  

Please revert if you still cannot change the user account name.

• Make sure you have a good reason.
• Know what you want your new name to be before you request a name change.
