Windows 10: Change the DuckDuckGo page?

I like using DuckDuckGo, but their webpage is loaded with... junk. Does anyone know of a way to remove all that stuff that ISN'T in the BLUE box? Thanks.

DuckDuckGo is an alternate front end for Google. They claim to not store user info so they don't use it to filter searchs, there no advertising. In theory it should be faster. Here is the wiki page for it:

I don't know why it would pop up at random. It can be set as the default search engine, but that is an all the time setting.

How do I install DuckDuckGo as my web browser?

DuckDuckGo is a search engine that provides extra security for its user. You cannot install it as a browser. What you can do is set the DuckDuckGo website as the startup page for your browser so each time that you will open your browser, it will open DuckDuckGo
right away. If you are using Edge, follow the steps below.

1. Open Edge and click on the three dots (...) at the upper-right part of it.

2. Click on Settings and click on "On Startup" at the left pane.

3. Click the radio button for Open a specific page or pages and click on Add a new page and paste the DuckDuckGo URL or link on it

4. Close and relaunch Edge.
