  1. Change the login account on Windows 10

I have a problem with a PC installed with a Microsoft account say "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***". For Office 365 however I have an account like "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***" linked to my organisation. I want to bring all together into that 1 account "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***" and get rid of "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***".
I assumed this must be relatively simple, but I fail to find the proper solution.

    Can anyone assist?

    :)

Windows 10 multiple system login crap! [Solved!] Thanks to Kursah!

Using login credentials is best practice, and is going to be more and more among the norms. You can bypass needing a password if you're NOT using a Microsoft account. But if you are, that's an online linked account...wouldn't make any sense to be able to automatically login to a sync'd account without credentials would it?

If you're using local accounts or non-domain accounts, you don't need to have a password to login. See link above, you'll be able to make the changes you need by following that, in a few minutes your frustrations will be gone. *Toast :toast:

Strange Windows 10 User Account issue.

Unfortunately I had done those steps numerous reboots, it just, reappears for no good reason. The base account isn't even a Microsoft account, it's a local account.

I haven't quite tried the built in administrator account on W10, but so far in my experience on my own computer, the built in account seemed to have absolutely no more control than I did on my own.

It's just strange, I go in, it warns me twice about deleting the account, then it's gone. Reboot, and it's back?

EDIT: Just to specify, both command line and Netplwiz both say only HIS account exists on the computer, it doesn't list this rogue account. This is what I meant in my first post about the fact that even Windows doesn't seem to believe it exists, HALF the time. *Frown Change the login account on Windows 10 :(
