Windows 10: Change the size of the display on Windows 10 (April 2018 Release)

I have been to about a dozen Google search results on this topic.


I want to change the size of objects and text on the windows 10 display. None of the articles show the same screens I see when I try to follow the instructions. In fact, I've found three different ways, none of which match what is happening on my computer. Obviously these articles we written for older versions of windows 10 and Microsoft has changed how to do this.


I am providing technical support for a friend of mine. She is seeing a different set of screens than I am even though I am sure we are both on the April Release of Windows. Is changing the display different for each manufacturer? I have dual screens, she has a single screen; would that make a difference?


What is the new way to change the size of the display? Specifically, she wants to change the text size of the banner. Is there a link to the *real* solution?

Changing display size

Assuming you have Intel graphic,
Go to Graphic properties (right click on desktop, or in taskbar) and select Display. Down on bottom find customize

Windows 10 Build 10.0.17134 Changelog:​Build 17134 was the 23rd Insider Preview build of Windows 10 released after Fall Creators Update. It was released on April 16, 2018. This new build arrived via new "RS4" (RedStone4) development branch.

Changing display size


Thank you for your suggestion: there is no such option.
What I would like to do is to alter the size of the display area in Windows: this has been possible in the (fairly recent) past.
Does this capability still exist in the present (17th February, 2018) version of Windows 10?
