Windows 10: Change to 24 hr time

Change to 24 hour time

:)

 

change time display from 12 hr clock to 24 hr clock?

I am retired military and more appreciate the 24 hr format for time than 12 hr.. I am unable to find a toggle to do that???

So that leave with a question..where is the time display format at..Many thx in advance.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + R.
• Type services.msc in the box
• Select Windows time in the services.
• Restart the service and check if it helps
  

If the issue persist follow the steps to change the format.

• Press Windows key and type Date and Time in the search box.
• Click on change date and time
• Click on change calendar settings
  
• In Customize format under
  Time tab
• For Short timing it should be hh:mm:tt
• For Long time it should be H:mm:ss

Thanks Arun i tried the 1st option but still after i restart the windows time and reboot the tablet, still the same. the time in the lock screen starts in 24 hr format and i lock the pc and check the time it changed again to 12 hr. format. another question
Arun, this time it is on my windows 10 desktop, windows spotlight will not show the pic just plain color and the time. Still, thank you, i hope you can also help me with this
