Change UAC settings / do not prompt on start with admin for a specific program on Windows 11

Could you add this feature someway back? It's so inconvenient everytime I open my VSCode on Windows 11, the UAC prompt to confirm making changes to my computer pops up.I need to set starting VSCode as administrator as default due to better coding and terminal experiences. And I also need to start VSCode from multiple ways, such as desktop/start menu shortcut, or file/folder right-click menu, or command lines etc. So it makes the trick of setting task scheduler as UAC whitelist useless.I would just like any solution of setting VSCode to bypass these privilege checks so that it doesn't prompt me e

  2. Changing the UAC Setting Prompt for Built-In Admin account?

Thanks! Appreciate the support and detailed explanation.

However, slightly off topic here, but what about setup programs that a user can just change to their User Profile instead of a System folder like the Program Files folder? If a Standard User installs an app like Utorrent for example without changing the installation destination (C:\Program Files), then of course, the UAC will prompt for the Admin credentials. But when the user changes the installation path to their User Folder or wherever a directory does not need Admin rights to install, then its bad news...

So I guess there is a slight flaw in this UAC prompt thing when it comes to applications like these.

Best UAC setting if one likes to be more secure, then UAC setting for Standard Users should be: Automatically deny elevation requests.

Utorrent is one example, see the image.

Disabling UAC or allowing with no UAC prompt for a specific group of users for a specific program?

Using Windows Server 2008, we have many users on workstations that need the Mcafee scan run but it's prompting for UAC.

Is there a way to set a policy or a method to allow an automatic elevation of rights/disable UAC for a specific group of users even if they are not admin status?

Program was able to install on non-admin account without UAC prompt, why?

So this might be a misunderstanding of what the UAC does, but on my non-admin account I was able to install the program Discord without an UAC prompt. It did not install into Program Files or Program Files(x86) but instead to C:\Users\[USER]\AppData\Local\,
but it still appears in the list of Programs and Features. This seems like odd behavior if the UAC can be avoided by changing the install location; is there some restrictions on what programs can do if they are not installed into Program Files or Program Files(x86)?
