Windows 10: Change where new content is stored doesn't work

    Change where new content is stored doesn't work


    I have a brand new Dell G7 laptop, Windows 10 version 1909 OS Build 18363.778. Using Settings - System - Storage - Change where new content is stored, I changed where apps, music, photos, and movies are stored, from C: to D: No error message. However, new content is still being put onto the C drive. I have tested it with several apps, downloaded a photo, etc. but they still go to the C drive. I looked at the D drive and the folders were created Program Files, Windows Apps, etc. but they are all empty. Possibly related: the Move button is greyed out for all apps that I checked.


    I tested that the D: drive itself is working by creating a simple Notepad file and saving it to D: which worked fine.


    How do I make Windows do what it says it is doing? Thanks.

    Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

    I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

    I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

    Ovi store doesn´t work at my N8

    Hello,



    I have problem with my ovi store in my new Nokia N8. I can´t loggin to ovi store. The program show website, which is for "Ovi Store Application download" and if I download and install app and start app agains, the program show me the same website. I tested
    reinstall SW and reinstall app, but it doesn´t work.Thanks for reply....
