Windows 10: Change windows 10 admin email, without creating a new profile.

I do not know why windows 10 decided to use a backup email and not the one that I use for my Microsoft account. I would like to change this and I have read instructions which all say to make a new profile etc.. remove the original. Well unfortunately when creating new profile with the email address I want, I would lose all save information in terms of games, other settings, browsing history / bookmarks and a number of other things which would take a few hours to fix manually which is very stupid.


So pardon my stupidity, but I need another way to change the admin password without creating a new profile. I am sure that there has to be some other "hack" to this rather than the already mentioned make a new profile... Which again is very stupid

Sorry I meant email not password. And as I said creating a new alias which the word alias is no where to be found and thus I think you mean family member? Still is not an option as I would lose all save info and settings etc which would take a few hours
to fix.

Please help me find another way to change the Admin EMAIL without creating a new profile.

Also it was quite clear that PASSWORD was a mistake and the whole question is revolving around the admin email.

EDIT: furthermore, the link you provided is only for the https://account.microsoft.com/profile/ NOT the EMAIL FOR THE PC WHILE BOOTING TO WINDOWS, which is what I am referring to.

To better assist you with your concern, please confirm if you want to change the current email account signed in as administrator in your computer. If yes, you may try adding an
alias to your admin email account and make the new email account as the primary account. Kindly refer to the steps in this
article.

If you wish to change the password only of your admin email account, then it shouldn't be a problem:

1.Sign in to your Microsoft account, and then select
Security.

2. Select Change password.

3. Enter your current password, then the new password you want, and then enter the new password again.

4. Select Save. Log in using your new password.
