Windows 10: Change windows 11 password - computer sign in - not account password

Hi all, I want to change the password to sign in to my windows 11 PC. When I go into security, in the windows settings, it only lets me change my microsoft account password. I don't use my microsoft account password to log in. How do I change the admin password on windows 11? The password I use when I first sing in to my computer after start up; not the one I use to log in to my microsoft account. This option seems to be removed, moved or hidden, and it used to be straight forward.My second computer, still on windows 10, doesn't have this problem I changed its password without issue last week.

It is completely possible to change your password hint on Windows 10 without going through all the “rigmarole *chuckle” of changing the password. Just do this:

Step 1- On the search bar, type “Settings” then locate and click on “Accounts”.
Step 2- On the left navigation pane, locate and click on “Sign- In Options”, then click on “Password”.
Step 3- Type your current password/new password and the hint that you want to provide under “Password Hint”.
