  1. Changed account details, and it's all gone wrong

So recently, I have deleted an old Microsoft account, so I can use that email on my current Microsoft account. That process has gone well, and the email has been changed. Now, the old Microsoft account that was deleted was used on my laptop. Now that the account has gone, I'm trying to switch/sign into my current Microsoft account. However, every time I try to sign in, it tells me I'm not connected to the internet. I've checked time after time and every time I am connected to the internet. It is wireless because my laptop does not have an ethernet port. I've tried signing into Xbox with my Mic

    :)

Change Microsoft Account Details in Administrator Account

Hi Daryl, welcome to the Ten Forums.

It's quite easy in fact, simply switch the account in question first to a local account, then switch back to a Microsoft account, this time using your wife's MS account credentials.

    Tutorials:
Notice that before doing this you need to remove the new additional MS account on the PC, the one you created with her credentials. Windows allows only one user account for each email address, if the new account exists you cannot switch the original administrator account to an MS account using the same email address.
