Windows 10: Changed my motherboard

Hi, all new poster here, and i just recently changed my motherboard out for a new one, to support my cpu that i am currently using, and i have windows 10 installed on my hd, and its telling me to activate windows, and i tried doing so and it keeps telling me to buy a new activation key, and the windows version i have is a store bought usb stick version so i am out of ideas on what to do here, can someone please help?

I've found out that the Asus M3A78-T needs to be flashed, so then that motherboard is excluded from my list. Which motherboard and memory should I then go for? Any suggestions?

The only hardware changes that can negatively impact activation status once you upgrade to free version are the changes to the:

• CPU
• TPM
• Motherboard replacement

The following changes are examples of hardware changes that will NOT impact the activation status:

• HDD/SSD
• Video card
• Adding extra memory
