    I so agree. I have reloaded windows 10 twice to delete password. THEN THEY TRICK YOU. TRY TO SIGN IN TO STORE AND IT AUTOMATICALLY DEFAULTS THE PASSWORD TO OUTLOOK TO LOGIN. I WANT MY NAME WITHOUT PASSWORD. I DO NOT WANT TO BE FORCED TO USE (OR MS TO USE
    THEIR SERVICES). SOME PEOPLE DO NOT WANT YOU (MS) IN OUR BUSINESS DAILY. I WILL SYNC OR BACKUP WHEN I WANT AND SHOULD BE ABLE TO SIGN ON AT EACH TASK. NOT FOR MS TO CONTROL MY COMPUTER. GUESS I HAVE TO DO A FULL RESTORE AGAIN. THIS STINKS MS. STOP MAKING MY
    LIFE COMPLICATED.

    No login password craziness

    Brink, that was the missing step. What threw me off was in netplwiz, where it asks about password for my MS account, the user name was not the same as my MS account name. Once I entered the password (twice) I can now login without entering a password. In fact the name that was listed was not the MS account name, but a folder name. The folder is the one that shows when you click on C:\Users.

    I posted this in December 2015

    I have set laptop to Hibernate and now not required to log in every time.

    Thought this response was in connection with latest post where I have clicked something and now cannot progress beyond the User Account Control field because the "YES" has been greyed out.

    Don't think it is going to be easy to correct!!!
