Windows 10: Changed primary email, now can't receive verification codes and have lost access to...

As above. My work email address changed, so I:Logged into my MS account,Added my correct email addressMade it primaryThen removed the old email addressNow, whenever I try to log in, I get asked for an email verification code. This never arrives. It feels like the primary email change didn't work properly, but the settings all seem correct in my MS account.NOTE: It's a work email address, but it's a personal account. It is not administrated by my workplace. I set it up.I have tried:Using my old email address instead not recognisedRe-adding my old email address can't do that without verfiying

Receiving wrong verification code to verify email

• Where exactly do you get the prompt/notification to verify the email address?
  
• How are you trying to verify the email?
  

However, you can try using other options to request the verification code i.e. requesting the code over a call or as a text to your phone number and see if that helps in resolving the issue.

Unable to get Verification code

To begin with troubleshooting I would like you to answer the following question:

• Which email client are you using?
• What exactly do you mean by"I have entered but unfortunately there is email code send to my inbox whatsoever."?
• Are you not receiving any verification code to your primary account that you have access to?
• Is your phone number registered to get the verification code?

I have tried several times to change my primary email account, but never receive the verification email. Help?
