Windows 10: Changed the Mouse Pointer. Windows reverts back to default Pointer against my will.

I am running Windows 10. I have trouble seeing my Pointer because of a complication during cataract surgery. Therefore, I changed the Pointer for my mouse to one that is inverted of the colour upon which it is resting and much larger, and I saved the scheme as "Eye Problems". However, every time I put my computer into Hibernate mode or every time the Lock Screen is activated and Windows requires the inputting of my password; Windows reverts to the old default Pointer and I have to take the trouble to open Pointers and change it back again. How can this problem be avoided?

Revert mouse pointer scheme after Ease of Access change

Recently I installed Windows 10. I was walking through settings and by my curiosity I entered Ease of Access options. In mouse section I changed pointer appearance. Unfortunately it changed mouse pointer scheme to XP look. When I open "Mouse Properties"
in Control Panel, "Pointer tab", I have to select "Windows Default (system scheme)" to get Aero look, because "(None)" option from schemes list changes it to XP style pointer.

Now my question is, if there is a way to revert "(None)" option to Aero, so I don't need to choose "Windows Default"?

mouse pointer

Upgraded to Windows 10, from Windows7 Home. Have had no real issues except I want to change the mouse pointer. I make the changes, then apply it, the mouse pointer remains changed for a minute, then reverts to the previous mouse pointer I had when making
the upgrade to Window 10.

Any suggestions?

• Right-click on the Start menu, then click Control Panel.
• Select Mouse, then go to the Pointers tab.
  
• Select the pointer you prefer from the drop-down list, click
  Apply > OK.

If you want to use a pointer that is not on the list, you can download it online. After that, go to Control Panel > Mouse > Pointers tab again, then click
Browse.
