Windows 10: changed to microsoft accout added an outlook account to mail program

Hi
it's no related to email program or problem
but i added a outlook account in the windows 10 email ( HxMail.exe)

after i reboot my desktop , and my windows 10 pro changed from a local account to a microsoft account *Sad

what's wrong?
i want to keep a local account

Windows 10 mail App needs changing from Mail Express to Outlook. Can anyone help? Sadly it loaded with Windows 10 this way.

No, You don't understand. This does not help. Windows 10 is using the wrong mail App for my Outlook mail. I need to change this but I can't change or delete the Microsoft account mail that downloaded with the Windows 10 update. When it did this windows mail
set-up, it set-up with the wrong mail app, not outlook...Understand?

Now I cannot change it. Only later added accounts can be changed....

 

Windows 10 mail app not syncing sent folder

If you're having trouble with old hotmail account then try this.

1. Choose 'Add account'.

2. Select the type of accout as 'Othe account POP, IMAP'. Not Outlook.com

3. Enter your hotmail account & password.

4. Change 'Download email from' sync setting to anytime.

However, this accout won't work smooth as outlook account. Little bit slow.

It sounds like you selected to switch to a Microsoft account by mistake while setting up the Mail app.

That is it. It's asking you for the password of your Microsoft account which will be the same password used for your email account.

and i don't remember because i used PWgen to generate ,25 charatecters *Sad *Sad
is there a way to bypass the login password like with w7 and w8?
but i don't remember any switch in the w10 mail

 

You'll have to reset your Microsoft password then online at Microsoft using OPTION THREE. When your PC is connected to the internet, it'll sync the new password to it.
