Changine Display Resolution.

Could you please help me with the below questions:

1. Do you have any dedicated graphic card?
   
2. Do you receive any error message while changing the resolution?
   
3. What is the make and model of the computer?
   
4. Which version of Windows you are using? (To check, type: winver in start menu and hit enter.)
   

I suggest you to try the following steps and check the details:

• Press Windows
  and R
  key together on your Keyboard.
  
• Type dxdiag and hit enter.
  
• Go to display
  tab > check for the current display mode and total memory.
  
  

If memory is not showing up here, that means the drivers are not updated. There might be a cause you have dedicated graphic card and integrated graphic card. Make sure both the graphic cards are up to date.

Please follow the steps mentioned in the Microsoft
link to update or uninstall the drivers.

• What steps have you taken so far?
• did you receive and error message?

I would suggest you to run System File Checker. its a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restored corrupted files. Follow the steps below:

• Press Win + R on the keyboard
• Type CMD the hit OK
• Type: sfc/scannow at the Command Prompt.
