Windows 10: Changing Active Signal Resolution on a 2nd display - 1st display works, 2nd display does not

Have 2 displays connected to my ASUS motherboard running Windows 10. Both displays HP & AUO flat panel originally had the Active Signal Resolution set to 1920x1080 and the Desktop Resolution set to 1024x768. I tried changing the Active Signal Resolution in Windows 10, but could never get it changed so I downloaded the Intel Graphics Command Center program. My board has Intel HD Graphics 500 driver from 2/3/22.Using the Intel Graphics Command Center, I was able to change the HP display to "Maintain Display Scaling" which did change the Active Signal Resolution from 1920x1080 to 1024x768.W

Changed Resolution of my 1st display, 2nd display stopped working.

When I changed the resolution of my display my 2nd display just turned black, it just stays in sleep mode.

The monitor is working I can confirm that. I tried a lot, tried to change the resolution to its former resolution.

Also tried to uninstall the drivers of my monitor and reinstall it. I can do all the settings with my main monitor I can still use my computer its just that my 2nd display shows nothing. On start up the monitor does display the windows icon loading in and after
that it goes right back into sleeping mode.

I really need some help with this one.

2nd Display not reconized

2nd display Samsung SA200 using EVGA GeForce 640GT 2GB, 1st display shows low resolution and the 2nd display stays black and is not recognized. Also have a black border around the 1st screen. I need 2 screens running and I need high resolution. All worked
fine in 8.1

 

2nd Display suddenly not showing

Have you already tried changing the resolution of the 2nd display? Sometimes if the resolution is too high it would display. I assume you've already done the basic stuff by putting the display settings into extend.

What drivers and secondary screen are you using?
