Windows 10: Changing from oem windows 10 pro edition to windows 10 education pro Edition

Hi,I need to change the operating system Windows 10 Pro which was provided by the PC vendor as the default OEM os. However, because I want to set it up as a Kiosk, I would need to change the OS to the Windows 10 Education Pro edition.Is this possible? Does it incur additional costs?Could someone help me please?

Edition changed from Pro to Pro Education - Windows 10

I have a laptop that had Windows 10 Pro OEM 1511 activated. I wiped the system drive & did a clean install of Windows 10 1709 on it.

It installed properly and when online it activated itself successfully.



However I am surprised to find that the version of Windows 10 now is Windows 10 Pro Education.



How is this possible? How can the edition change on its own from Pro to Pro Edu?

Hello! I have Question About Windows Editions, specificly about Windows Edition Comparisons.

But it does not give more information. So Are There Any Special Features or Other Things that Are Present in These Windows 10 Editions: Enterprise, Education & Pro Education.

1. Are Pro Education & Education the Same Windows Edition(Exeptions: One is Build on Windows Pro & Other is built on Windows Enterprise! And Licensing) or Are There Some Things That Are in Pro Education BUT Missing in Education Edition.

2. And Are These Both: Education & Pro Education same as Windows Enterprise(Not LTSC "Long Term Servicing Channel") in Features(not licensing) Or Are There Some Things that Are Only Exclusive to Education, Pro Education & Enterprise.

Im a Simple Term:

1. Are Windows Pro Education & Education Editions same or are there something special that is in Education Edition & Pro Education Edition.

2. And Can Windows Pro Education & Education Edition be considered as Enterprise/Buisness Edition in Windows( Or Are They Close enough to be In Some Parts Considered as Enterprise Edition)

3. And Since I would ask this Eventualy But Can Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC & Windows Server be Considered as One Same Edition in some terms? Or is There Something That Is Only in LTSC/WindowsServer*

Yeah, I'm well aware of that. No Product codes were listed for Pro Education last time I looked though. Or I'd be running it for a look see.
