Windows 10: Changing HDD drive

I have a 500 GB hdd drive on my laptop. I have a 1 TB spare HDD laying around so i thought that I could put it to some use and give my laptop an upgrade. if i upgrade the hdd, will i lose my windows 10 license? and also is it better to clone all the windows files and my c drive onto the 1TB HDD? could someone please answer to my question. any suggestions would be extremely helpful!

HDD Corrupt ?
