Windows 10: Changing icon's background colour at notification centre and banner

Hello, everyone. I just want to ask about my Microsoft Edge icon in notification centre and banner. Whenever there are notifications came in, the Microsoft Edge icon will come together in the notification centre and banner. However, the icon has the background of blue colour, which I sometimes don't like it.Is there any setting that can be done so that I can change the icon's background colour to other colour or transparent as well?Thank you.

No notification banners, sounds or numbers shown on Action Centre icon.

Hello,

Previously, whenever I got a notification, a banner would show, a sound would play and a (1) would appear on the Action Centre icon.

Then, I accidentally right-clicked the Action Centre icon and clicked on "Don't show number of new notifications". After clicking this, I no longer get notification banners, sounds or numbers.

To fix this, I have tried the following:

1) Right clicking the Action Centre icon and clicking "Show number of new notifications" -- did nothing.

2) Using a bat file to fix the problem -- did nothing.

3) Restarting the computer -- did nothing.

I cannot use a restore point to go back to a point before the problem because I don't have any.

One solution that I know will work is migrating to a brand new user profile. However, due to how tedious that is, I want to avoid that if possible.

Any other solutions would be appreciated. Thank you.

 

Notification Banner change not being saved


When I go to Settings, System, Notifications & actions and turn off all notification for the app Cloud-ui.exe it turns off. When I go to reboot the app is turned on again.
I also clicked on the app in settings and turned off the sound. That stayed off after reboot. When I turn off banners it will not be saved when I reboot.
Any suggestion? This app is for my Synology cloud and every time a file is changed the banner shows. It is very annoying.

 

Start menu tiles and Notification/Open Action Centre dissappeared!


Strange, my start menu left click that used to open the coloured start menu with 'tiles' has stopped working. I can only right click to access the 'grey' listing. If I do left click I see the blue spinning wheel for a couple of seconds but nothing appears.
Also the icon for 'New Notifications' has stopped as well, when clicked I used to see a slide out popup asking me if I would recommend W10 to a friend but not now. If I right click to 'Open Action Centre' nothing happens.

Any suggestions as to how to fix them?
