Windows 10: Changing language on Windows 11 with Alt+Shift does not work if you release both buttons...

As long as I can remember myself, Windows changed language once I started holding Alt+Shift. However, as I switched to Win 11, I realized just how easy I had it all these years. Now I have to actually really think twice when switching the language, because it won't change language once both buttons are pressed - now you have to release one of the buttons WHILE HOLDING THE OTHER or it won't work. It seams that there is at least 0.15-0.25 seconds delay time that has to pass between you releasing one of the buttons for you to be able to release the second one safely, or nothing will happen and th

ALT+SHIFT to change language doesn't work

Last week my ALT+SHIFT to change language stopped working.
I checked the input method and to change language, and it is still set to ALT+SHIFT.
I'm using SteelSeries apex 5 keyboard on windows 11

You did not specify if you are using Windows 10 or Windows 11.

For Windows 10:
1) Go to Control Panel\Clock, Language, and Region\Language\Advanced settings
2) in a section called Switching input methods click on the Change language bar hotkeys
3) continue with the Advanced key settings tab, then click on the button Change Key Sequence

Confirm if the change input language is Left Alt+Shift.
If it is:c
You will see the two languages (or one) that are present. Click on the language > Change Key Sequence > enable and use the drop-down to select Left Alt+Shift

For Win 11:
1) Click start > type "Language Settings" > Click on "Typing" > Advanced Keyboard Settings
2) Click Input Language hot keys

Confirm if the change input language is Left Alt+Shift.
If it is:c
You will see the two languages (or one) that are present. Click on the language > Change Key Sequence > enable and use the drop-down to select Left Alt+Shift

Changing languages with right-alt + shift stopped working

Windows 10 home.

Used to be, you could use both left-alt and right-alt + shift to switch between languages.

Then, some years back, only left-alt + shift switched between languages, whereas right-alt + shift went always to secondary language. That was a pain, but not a show stopper.

This is!

After latest Windows Update, right-alt + shift is dead.

I opened Control Panel > Clock, Language and Region > Language > Advanced setting > Switching input methods > Change language bar hot keys > Change Key Sequence

the only options there are:

1. Not Assigned

2. Ctrl + shift

3. Left Alt + shift

4. Grave Accent (`)

Right-alt + shift is gone!!!

How do I get it back?

I've been doing the same thing to switch languages since Windows 3.0, I think. It's massively frustrating to do it instinctively only for it to not work all of a sudden... Seriously annoying. How can I fix it?
