Windows 10: Changing lock screen passcode

On my home Windows 10 laptop, I have a lock screen passcode that I would like to change. However when I go to sign-in options, under Windows Hello PIN it says "This option is currently unavailable." It also says "this PIN isn't working for your organization's resources."


When I "click here to fix it," it eventually prompts me to sign in with my work email to access my account, even though this is my personal computer, not owned or managed by my employer. When I try to sign in with my personal Microsoft account, it says "You can't sign in here with a personal account. Use your work or school account instead." But again, this is my own PC purchased independently from work -- and the top level of settings shows my personal MS account, not my work account. Why does it not allow me to change my own passcode?

Lock Screen keeps changing

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

Windows Spotlight picks the photos from Bing and displays them in the lock screen. I understand that you have set a picture and it is getting changed automatically.

I suggest you to follow the steps to select the Picture that you want to be displayed on the lock screen. Please follow the steps mentioned below to set a Picture to lock screen:

1. Press and hold Windows + I key on the keyboard to open settings.
   
2. Click on Personalization.
   
3. Click on Lock screen.
   
4. Click on the drop down under Background and select
   Picture.
   
5. Click on Browse and select the picture that you want to set.

unable to change the lock screen Wallpaper.

I appreciate if you could answer few questions to narrow down to the issue.

  What is the exact issue that you are facing?
  
• 
  Are you facing issues while trying to change the lock screen Wallpaper?
  
• 
  Are you not able to choose the directory where the wallpapers has been saved?
  

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to restart the computer and check if you are able to successfully change the lock screen wallpaper.

  From Desktop, right click and select
  Personalize.
  
• 
  In Personalization window, click on
  Lock Screen in the left pane.
  
• 
  And choose wallpaper you would like to apply for the lock screen by choosing the browse option.
  
• 
  Close the Personalization window.

Changing lock screen photos

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Navigate to Start>Settings>Personalization.
• In the left navigation pane, click on Lock screen.
• In the right pane, select Pictures from the drop down list under
  Background.
• Select the picture from the list or click on Browse to select your saved images and set as lock screen image.
