Windows 10: Changing pin for Microsoft account and or log in to computer

When I got my laptop it allowed me to set a lock on my opening screen with a PIN number. Now I want to change my PIN to unlock the screen and I can find no way to do it. It is the same as when I log into my Microsoft account online. I use Windows 10 on an HP computer.

• How are you trying to change the password?
• Have you logged in to your account and trying to set the PIN?

I would suggest you to switch to child account and then try to set a 4 digit PIN from here and check if it works.

I am using the Microsoft account page under family members. In this section where it shows my Grand Daughters Account details there is no option to have a Pin Code, However on my page, as Administrator, I can create a Pin.

• Click Start menu and go to Settings.
• In Settings, click the Accounts icon.
• Click on Sign-in options.
• Change both your password and pin one by one.
