Windows 10: changing power mode from settings doesn't do anything

Discus and support changing power mode from settings doesn't do anything in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; so i just searched for a solution because it only shows balanced mode in power plan options in control panel, then i found a solution that one worked,...     changing power mode from settings doesn't do anything


    so i just searched for a solution because it only shows balanced mode in power plan options in control panel, then i found a solution that one worked, but when i try to change power plan it only works from control panel, if i change it from settings in system > power & battery, it doesnt do anything, please fix, i know that i can change it from control panel but its just weird knowig that i cant change it from the settings, please help
