Windows 10: Changing the primary user on Windows 10 computer - I'm still left with my old user name at...

I have a PC running Windows 10, I wanted to pass the computer to another family member and wanted to remove myself from the machine. I set the other person up as an administrator, changed my user status to a non-admin member, restarted the machine, logged into the new user and removed myself from users, Windows then removed all of my settings. However, now, when I start the machine, it was still coming up with my user name but tells me that 'The user name or password is incorrect. Try again', I haven't tried to log in at this point and I can't log into that account at all. However, on the si

Steps: To determine the user account type:

  Login to any account.
  
• 
  Press Windows key+X.
  
• 
  Click on Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on User accounts.
  
• 
  Your user account will show and below that it will show your local account or admin account.
  
• 
  Once you know about the account type.
  
• 
  You can go to user account and change the name.
  
• 
  Press Windows key+R.
  
• 
  Type netplwiz and press enter.
  
• 
  Select the account and click on properties.

  Change the user name and click on apply and then ok and one more time click on ok on the main screen.
