Windows 10: Changing to Windows 10 Pro

Discus and support Changing to Windows 10 Pro in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; My desktop has W10 Pro with updates deferred for 60 days. My laptop is plain old home.     Changing to Windows 10 Pro


    My desktop has W10 Pro with updates deferred for 60 days. My laptop is plain old home. I would like to make it a Pro installation. I know how to do that but I would like to do it before it gets the 1803 release. If I boot it now I am afraid it will automatically update itself before I can make the switch to Pro.

    How can I prevent that from happening?
