Windows 10: Changing Windows 10 edition with a digital licence.

I purchased an HP Envy 34 which came with Windows 10 Home installed.

I subsequently purchased a Windows 10 Pro licence and reinstalled Windows and it successfully activated as Pro.

A few months later I had to reinstall Windows but when it activated automatically, it reverted to Home edition.

It also automatically installed bitlocker, which I don't want, but because the activation was for the Home edition, I cannot turn off bitlocker!

How can I ensure that the digital licence reflects the latest version of Windows I have installed?

ok here goes :

reactivation of windows 10 after hardware changes doesnt work.





to add I had nothing but problems since upgrading for free my wifi adaptor failed so I had to purchase another. then my ethernet port failed. so was forced into probably purchasing a new mb next step up from the failed one ( possibly because of poxy windows
10 upgrade)

Also I thought when I upgraded so called "digital licence" to win 10 I no longer needed my windows 7 disc and key so binned it.

next step was to put old motherboard which is linked to digital licence. back in and reinstall correct version of windows to match my digital licence worked windows activated! ffixxed

now to change my motherboard back to the non faulty one..... and try to reactivate...…………..!!!

As per Adobe support, it is compatible with Windows 7. You can try installing it in compatibility mode.

For installing it in compatibility mode, you may follow this step:

• Right click on setup file and click on Properties.
  
• Under compatibility tab, check the option “Run this program in compatibility mode for:” and select Windows 7.
  
• Click on Apply and OK.
  

You may download the
Adobe Digital Edition 4.5.9 version and check if it is works.

downgrade to digital licence windows 10

I had windows 10 with digital licence that's i upgraded to windows 10 pro with fake activation key it was upgraded but it shown the windows key is not activated activate now. Now i want to back my windows 10 home edition. i had free upgrade windows 8.1 to
windows 10 home edition and i upgraded it for free. now i want my windows 10 home edition with my digital licence.
