    Changing Xbox360 controllers order on Windows 10


    So if we take Rocket League as example. I wan't to play split screen with a friend that's gonna be using an Xbox360 controller. When i plug in the controller, it connect as First player so the game think i want to play with the controller as First player. I need a way to make the controller connect as Second player. Only way I figured out was to unplug then rapidly re-plug the controller so the PC doesn't have the time to disconnect First player, that way the controller would connect as Second player. But i need something more conventional like a app or if there's a way from Windows devices manager. Thank you to whoever that could solve my case.

    My Xbox360 controller is not recognized

    When I plug in my Xbox360 controller, I get a message saying the USB device is not recognized. The Controller is listed under "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" as "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)" Under Properties it says

    "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

    A request for the USB device descriptor failed." Is there a solution to this problem? My friends would probably kill me if I tried to play Dark Souls with a keyboard

    I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

    • Press Windows + X keys and select Device Manager.
    • Locate the drivers for the controller.
    • Right click on the driver and select Properties.
    • Click on Driver tab and click on Uninstall.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall the driver.
    • Restart the system after uninstalling the driver and connect the device to the computer and check for status.
