Windows 10: Charactors repeated when typing, eg fffffffffffffffffffffff about x40

Win11 Pro v10.0.22000 Build 22000Office 365 Buis v2204 Build 15128.20178, current ChannelThis has plagued me for a few weeks, so experienced under prior update version and still under recent win and 365 updatesI'm using Logitech keybd with Logi software/driversThe issue occurs in word and when in this Answers site, in edition if I click the mouse in order to edit something the curser does not register also under word/safeThe problem is intermittant, nothing shown in event logs

Uninstall problem


Open the Admin Command Prompt:

1. diskpart
2. List disk
3. select disk # where # is the disk that contains hidden partitions
4. list par
5. select partition #
6. delete partition OVERRIDE
7. repeat steps 5 & 6 for the additional hidden partitions.
8. exit

OR:
if you want to clean the whole disk, after step 3 above
Type: clean
Type: exit

 

Keyboard repeat delay and repeat speed

Hi Joseph,

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the keyboard driver. Follow the steps to uninstall & reinstall the keyboard driver from device manager.

• 
  Press Windows key + X from the
  Keyboard and click on Device Manager.
  
• 
  In Device Manager, double click on the
  Keyboard.
  
• 
  It will show you the device driver name, select that device and then right click on it.
  
• 
  Click on Uninstall button.
  
• 
  Restart the computer, the drivers will get automatically installed on your Windows 10.
  
• 
  Repeat the same for Mice and other pointing devices.
