Windows 10: chaturbate

Mic only works with certain programs. Windows 10

My mic works fine with Skype. I even checked it under recording devices and when I listened it sounded normal. However, when I try to make a video with youtube, use Chaturbate, or Second Life it makes me sound like I'm the devil or something. Almost like
I have a voice changer on that makes me sound ridiculously slow and low like a man!!!! It only started this after I got Windows 10. I'm stumped on what to do since both my headset mic and laptop mic work fine with certain things, but with other programs it's
just not working properly at all using either. I'll take all the help I can get!!!!!
